| Bio: | How do you do? I am a technophobe but it doesn't make me a bad person. I still have major issues about mobile telephones that take photographs. After significant and lengthy counselling I have come to terms with regularly using a mobile telephone but why should I want it to take a photograph? I have a camera that does just that! I also have a toaster that makes toast (and does nothing else) and a watch that shows me the time (and does nothing else). Call me old fashioned but I cannot see the point of a watch that produces hot slices of bread. I rest my case.
In spite of grave reservations, therefore, I have reluctantly agreed to "embrace" the 21st century and attempt to set up a "blog" (having actually now used that word, I suppose there is no turning back...) My decision is in the face of "popular" demand for news of my supposed life-changing move at the age of 52 to abandon the staid and safe world of "Insurance" and go to drama school.
Instead of individually telephoning friends and colleagues into the early hours of every morning with regular updates of my scintillating new life they can check out my "live journal" and fall asleep rapidly without fear of embarrassment by snoring on the phone line.... |
